Pros

There are many terrific things about Thrasher that are uncommon to employers anywhere else. The Thrasher family has an incredible amount of integrity; they are committed to the the community, their customers, their employees and the company. The company itself is led well from top down; they really care, and do their best to maintain a culture of fun, hard-working people who enjoy what they do and enjoy spending time with one another. There are high expectations at Thrasher, of employees performance, and of company performance with each and every customer. I believe employees are given every opportunity to excel; you will get everything out of the experience that you put into it. I consider myself blessed to be here.

Cons

For some departments, there is a fair amount of travel out of town, which can be a con for some people, and no problem at all (sometimes preferred!) for others, depending on your preferences.

Pros

Culture matters here. Managers take time to care for not only the technical aspect of your job, but the relational one as well...making sure you feel valued and appreciated. The owners of this company are incredibly caring and generous. And I love the people I get to work with daily. They are more like family than co-workers.

Cons

I actually think is probably a pro, but you can't coast when you are here. Managers hold themselves to high standards and hold their employees to high standards as well. Also, because it's an environment of constantly challenging the status quo, there can be a lot of change and that's hard for some personalities.

Pros

Even with the rapid growth the company is experiencing, there is still the feel of a family owned and run business. The benefits and compensation are very competitive for the area and for our type of business. Thrasher Basement Systems is very progressive company with great leadership.

Cons

There are a lot of new employees. It is a challenge to get to know everyone on a personal level.
