Very Toxic Environment/Nepotism

Pros

PTO, if allowed to use it.

Cons

Very toxic work environment. Managers have huge issues with nepotism. You will only advance if you are related to someone or friends with the manager outside of work! Very top heavy, so many leads who get paid very, very well to micromanage. One particular manager at Meade Ops is very toxic. Helped her daughter in law fast track through the company while other temps were there 2+ years with no inside offers and they were way better workers. Daughter in law was a Thrivent employee within 6 months of starting. Most employees are very unhappy. PAY is TERRIBLE! You can make the same amount at most retail jobs,

TOXIC work environment

Pros

PTO, flexibility, work from home.

Cons

Nepotism runs rampant. Excessive Micro-management, Unrealistic production goals. Lack of quality oversight. Upper Mgmt is drastically out of touch with their workforce & with client's needs. Excessive #'s of middle-management & not enough bodies to actually do the work. Wages are stagnant. VERY high medical & dental premiums (Family Coverage is $1,100/mo.) NOW OUTSOURCING WORK TO INDIA.

Pros

No accountability or expectations so if you want a job warming a seat you won’t have to prove your value.

Cons

See Pros. Toxic workplace culture, manager rarely present and doesn’t deliver cleared, defined objectives. Employees are silod and not provided opportunity to shine or develop skills via mentorship. Management strings you along with the promise of promotion to keep you around. Employees are just another number and contractors are treated worse.
