Employees work with a purpose
Pros
My experience has been that I am given freedom to take risks and be bold in my work. I have been able to transform the methods and primary focus of my role as I become aware of changing needs that stretch my talents. My manager keeps me honest and has serious expectations of me, but trusts me to evolve and improve things in my realm, often entirely at my own discretion. It's a respectful place, with very decent people. Training is a high priority. The focus of the culture is always tied to giving back, with volunteer opportunities available at all times. One of the most impressive benefits is 20 hours of paid volunteer time off annually.
Cons
Careful management of members' finances and personal information can make for slow progress in decisions at times..
