      Company was just taken over by another company (Rovi). And they are very large and and will just make the company culture more corporate

      Passionate and highly intelligent peers all working towards producing the best of class products in their market space. Open and trusting environment where your voice is heard and valued. Career growth opportunities if you're a talented and motivated employee.

      Cons

      Complacency due to the status quo, low priority in investing the time and effort it takes to make meaningful changes that result in higher productivity, employee empowerment and true cross-team collaboration. Shifting business objectives that make it hard to get behind what the company is trying to accomplish. Typical of many companies, your usual case of everything is a priority, making if difficult to understand how to manage your time between competing projects. Lots of technical debt that translates to nothing is ever as easy as it could be.
