Pros

Catered lunches, good highly skilled people in every department.

Cons

The product is not scalable. There was an urgent requirement to redo a bunch of underlying pieces but the management was ONLY focussing on bringing on more customers when the current ones were never using it because of the issues. The wall with the big brand names, yeah none of them use the product anymore.

Pros

Tidemark has a great working environment: people are very friendly and willing to help each other out. From an engineering perspective, the company is trying solve some very interesting computational problems at scale: this is obviously very enticing, since work is not dull and boring. The technological stack which is used currently is very modern, and we frequently look for alternatives and tools which fit better. One very important perk is that we work with fairly big data sets, though not at the scale of Google or Amazon.

Cons

Tidemark is experiencing start up growing pains: both in technological front, and in the customer management front. These are typical problems that start ups face, and none of these are unsolvable problems.
