Pros
*decent product to purchase *chill vibe within store, dress-code is super casusal *CEO is a good guy
Cons
There are way too many to even list here- if you are thinking of taking ANY management position with this company get ready to be completely short-changed and worked to death. Every employee in my building is completely underpaid and overlooked for succession plans. They rather save 50 cents to hire an external, rather than promote and celebrate from within. I have seen SO much turn-over it is embarassing. There is ZERO training and terrible communication, at least I experienced with my district manager. My boss is completely unprofessional, highly emotional, unnessarily rude, makes employees feel uncomfortable and does NOT put people first. The company comes across as relaxed and "chill", but your workload is not manageable with the payroll and staffing given. They hire you with the promise of performance bonuses, but when yearly reviews come, they use minimum wage increases as excuses to not pay for growth. There is a lot of back-talking from upper management, loss prevention is horrible with zero direction and if you work here don't think you will have any place to grow or any resources to grow with. Keep a close eye on their job postings- you will see the same jobs being filled then constantly reposted. The CEO is cool, but the company really needs to work on their organization, compensation, succession plans, training programs and well just about everything. Word of advice from a current manager- take any other job, literally any other job. Thank me later! (And yes, I hope my boss sees this and realize I am a current employee. I hate every day I go to work, and that is so sad).
