work life balance sometimes could be compromised

A lot of people who work at Timken have been there for a long time, new people are treated like outsiders. The environment isn’t very welcoming. The company is severely lacking in progress making technology. A LOT what we do could be automated or made easier by tech and software, but the company does not want to invest the time or money into making their processes more efficient. Management is also incredibly ignorant about the actual details of the jobs that are happening on the shop floor. When they talk to you it’s very clear that they know nothing about what you do and the processes of your job.
