Pros

Many highly intelligent Engineers with great ideas. Good products and long history.

Cons

This company is so far behind in hiring/promoting minorities, but they are trying to catch up. That's good if you're a minority, not so good for a white middle aged male. The steel side of the business has terribly outdated accounting/management software, because they are too afraid a conversion would cause down time. The average employee is a 50+ white male who plans to retire in the next 5 years. There is going to be a lot of lost knowledge here, but anyone with their foot in the door may get some fast promotions.
