Pros

they do offer benefits to you as long as you are full time and not temp.

Cons

this is the worst company to work for. they treat their employees like slaves. forced to work long hours and long weeks while management get to be off with their families. they use temp agents to fill in at half the salary with min training with no hope of being hired in. the management talks down to the employees and this company has no ethics.

Pros

Very ethical company with good compensation packages and strong interest in growing and developing their people. Lots of employees spend their entire careers at Timken.

Cons

Almost all manufacturing locations are are in rural areas, so if you are looking to live next to a decent-size city and work for Timken, there are only a couple of locations that can offer that.

Pros

Very high quality, well engineered products, global presence, competitive salary and benefits, team oriented environment, and has a good internship program for students still in college.

Cons

Senior mgmt/leadership very short term focused, low employee morale, no real career planning, many departments too lean to support the business plan, way too many meetings.
