Pros

It is pretty cool to work there. Your friends that use Tinder will always want to know about your job. The amount of work isn't bad. For the most part, people don't try to reinvent the wheel as much as in other companies, and they use what is existing on AWS/open source.

Cons

Team that constantly speak Chinese to each other, despite knowing that you are here, and not speaking it. If you are not Chinese you probably won't feel included. For instance, you might want to sit at lunch with them, but they will make no effort to start speaking English. People there will keep telling you how rich they are, and what Porsche they are driving. Promotion process is probably the most unfair that I have seen in the industry. There is no formal process, the same people get promoted every year, and they will rub it in your face telling how it doesn't feel any different to get promoted, even complaining they don't get bigger raises.
