Pros

Small and nimble, its easy to move fast and make huge impact. People are very supportive and open to collaboration because there is very little overlap in platform team initiatives. Open source and cutting edge are encouraged. Since there is only one app, its very easy to focus. Engineering leadership is very progressive and focuses on hiring the best people for the job, while keeping the hiring objective and focusing on diversity of talent.

Cons

If you are looking for a place where a larger momentum must move you, this might not be for you. This is a place where self starting leaders can thrive as leadership is very open to new ideas that actually solve outstanding issues.

Pros

Co workers are intelligent, talented, and have truly pure intentions for the users. Nice work life balance and a great opportunity to learn a lot about product.

Cons

Leadership typically consists of people who are older and have little to no online dating experience. Very out of touch with our user base and relies mostly on quantitative data. Products that actually get shipped goes through a very political process. Most senior positions are hired outside of the company which makes it difficult for internal growth.
