Pros
Pros: - very good product, in terms of features. For a virtualized environment, this product does very well compared to other companies products. - good work/life balance - technical middle managers. - people working there are nice, helpful.
Cons
- Non-competitive salary. Options/RSU were supposed to compensate, but the IPO did not fare well. - C-level management feels very lost. - Marketing of the product has been horrible to date. No improvement even with recent change at VP level. - Product quality/stability issues are on the rise. Recent development: - Company in limbo for past few months, seems like everyone waiting for second round of layoff. - Most people have stopped believing in company, feels really let down. - Morale/enthusiasm among employees (specifically engineer) very negative, all time low. - Hard to impossible to get any new features done. - People leaving in droves.
