Pros

Tipalti gives you $15 for lunch, which covers a salad with no add-ons.

Cons

Let’s see here. Blatantly sexist: Check Blatantly racist: Check Toxic company culture, morale, and executives: Check check check. Work here if you want to be overworked, underpaid, and undervalued. Your mental health will deteriorate, and you’ll constantly be looking over your shoulder. Those who are removed are told their job role is being eliminated because they don’t have enough experience, which is rarely the case. Then, they will be replaced by another victim who falls into the same trap as their predecessor. By the way, an “experienced” individual doesn’t exist because no one can deliver what Tipalti execs expect. Execs don’t know what they want, and no one is on the same page. Directors' and officers' minds change so often that they can’t keep track. But that’s the employees’ problem, not theirs. Next. If you’re a straight white male capable of blaming others for your mistakes and taking credit for others’ achievements, this is the job for you (although the benefits and salary will still be rubbish). IPO? More like IP-No. They string it along, telling new hires the IPO will happen in two years, then it becomes four, and then the public timeline becomes unknown. Tipalti leans on this IPO narrative as an excuse to supremely underpay us. Don’t trust the five stars on this page. I haven’t come across a person who is satisfied at Tipalti for over a year. I’m talking about all departments, too. Recently, the performance reviews came in, and the ratings were at an all-time low. The justification? These results were low because “the people who were recently laid off made those ratings low—not the present employees.” Before we filled out this survey, we were told our answers were all “anonymous.” Busted—Oops! Fun fact: On Women’s International Day 2024, Tipalti had a panel of Tipalti men explain women to us.Thank you, Tipalti, so insightful!
