Pros

The executive leadership are passionate about Tire Discounters and making it best in class for both employees and customers. There are advancement opportunities both in the stores and home office that give you success. I like being empowered to think out of the box and not settle for status quo to keep improving.

Cons

The retail industry moves fast, sometimes we move too fast. With the new leadership comes change. Change is hard for some and can make process improvements difficult to deploy.

Pros

I can only speak for the store that I work at, but the managers and employees are all like family. You're treated fairly and everyone respects you're opinion and they expect you to do the same. As long as you put in the effort, the recognition and rewards are great. Tire Discounters does a great job with awarding employees and keeping morale at an all time high.

Cons

The downsides of working at Tire Discounters are the same with most any job. From time to time you get a stubborn customer who thinks they know you're job better than you. The days can feel long and it's far from easy work. But as long as you stay motivated and keep your team motivated, you'll be fine.
