Pros

Great coworkers. That's about it.

Cons

The executive board couldn't care less about associates or managers. If your numbers aren't stellar, you're just another name they have to pay. Also, depending on what department you're in, if you do not favor the right-wing in the political world, there's a good chance you'll be pressured into changing views.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We know that when working in retail it can be challenging to balance meeting the customers’ needs and ensuring you have quality time with your family. As a family-owned business, quality time with family is a top priority. We offer a five-day workweek with the opportunity for overtime for those who are interested. We find this helps our employees find a balance that works for them. It’s important to us that every employee feels valued for their unique contributions and are disappointed that your experience was not up to our standards. We would have liked the opportunity to address your concerns while you were still here and would like to learn more. If you are willing to provide direct feedback, please reach out to hr@tirediscounters.com with your contact information. Thank you again for the review, and thank you for spending time with the TD family.

Pros

Cool people to work with decent benefits. Flexibility when i need a day off friendly atmosphere

Cons

yearly reviews are only done in spring. If you have not been employed for a year you will have to wait until the next go around for a raise. This can be almost 2 years depending on when you start.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re glad you’ve got awesome co-workers. Your TD family is a big part of what makes working at TD so great. We’re proud to offer career paths that can take you from entry-level all the way to store management or to the home office based depending on your goals. We’re concerned that you don’t see the opportunity for advancement and want to work with you to ensure your path to the next level is clearly defined. Please reach out to your manager, or HRBP so we can create a plan with you.
