Pros

Nice buildings and good equipment, it stops there.

Cons

Worked at two different stores and found very poor management at stores, poor workman ship on repairs and tire installs. When I bought these situations up Area Managers could careless as long as sales numbers were okay. Always never enough shop help so store managers and service managers are working on the vehicles everyday. Expected to skip lunch and keep working. Unorganized dirty locations. After two weeks I could not take the embarrassment of such a unprofessional business, so I left.

Thank you for your review. We’re glad our five day work week, and No Sunday schedule gave you the work-life balance you needed. As a family-owned business, we take pride in offering career paths that allow our employees to achieve their personal and professional goals. Our sales associates enjoy a competitive salary package that includes base pay + incentives. Our goal is to promote from within and we’ve found our best managers started as technicians and sales associates. Even our company President began his career with us as a Tire Technician. Thank you for the time you spent with us as a part of the TD family.

Thank you for your review. We’re glad you’re a part of the Tire Discounters family. Our tire technician career path includes the opportunity to earn raises by completing training classes. We encourage employees to grow their careers (and pay) with either our technician or sales training paths. We strive to have the best pay plan in the industry, that’s why our top service techs are earning $100k+ with service commissions per year. Please reach out to your manager if you have questions about how to take advantage of the training program. Thank you again for taking the time to provide feedback.
