Thank you for being part of the Tire Discounters family and for your 5 Stars. Taking care of our customers and our employees is top priority and we are glad you are happy with your decision to join the family. We agree our current system is difficult to learn. We are testing a new and improved system in one of our stores right now – stay tuned for updates on when it will be rolled out to all of our stores. In addition to the employee discount at our stores, we have perks available for all of our employees on our intranet site, check it out and please recommend other perks to investigate. Our recruiting team is always looking for more great employees. If you know of someone you would like to work alongside, tell them to check out our careers page at www.tirediscounters.com/careers .

Thanks you for the review and for being part of the Tire Discounters family. We pride ourselves on taking care of our customers AND our employees. Our benefits team works hard to ensure you have what you need to take care of you and your family. This year we have some new benefit programs and expanded our current benefit selection to offer you one of the best benefit programs in the industry. Retail is fast paced and not for everyone but we strive to hire right and train well to keep everyone progressing in their career path. Our recruiting team is always looking for more great employees. If you know of someone you would like to work alongside, tell them to check out our careers page at www.tirediscounters.com/careers .

Pros

Great comraderie, teamwork and management at the store level. I was always able to count on my store manager if I needed anything. Made some great friends and acquaintances while working for TD.

Cons

As an automotive technician, there are very few developmental courses to expand your knowledge and abilities as a technician. Great for entry level tech's to learn the ropes, but a dead end if you plan on making a career of it.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you didn’t have a good experience with us. We wish you had reached out to your field support team before you left, they would have pointed you in the right direction so you could have taken advantage of the free Service Technician training and moved up in your career path and become ASE certified. Tire Discounters pays for certain ASE Certification registration fees AND will also reimburse for certain certification test fees. PLUS once you are ASE certified, based on your certification level you receive higher pay. Reach out to the recruiting team if you are interested in coming back, sounds like you enjoyed working with your team. www.tirediscounters.com/careers
