Pros

This is the top company I wanted to get in for the semiconductor industry, and elated to be part of the TEL family. It is a challenging time to hire during the pandemic, but TEL has adapted virtual hiring and training - making sure everyone is safe. The onboarding training was best I've ever received, and continue to be thankful for the daily support to get the work done together. Compensation is competitive, company is very transparent and ethic oriented, and my team mate is friendly group of intelligent and motivated people I enjoy working with daily. HR had great educational presentations on benefits and creating safe work environment, IT was very supportive when I am working from home experiencing tech-issues, and overall it has been a seamless transitional experience despite WFH. I cannot wait to work alongside with my team when it is safe to do so. However, as the HQ company is based in Japan, and as it is specializing in semiconductor products, naturally it comes with unique set of obstacles for work life balance with tight turn around needed in this sector with increased production output, as well as gender leaning toward larger percentile of male seated in higher positions. There are many ways each individuals can learn and take lead in areas they wish to see improvement, and I find it a healthy and nurturing work environment for everyone.

Cons

Already stated in pro's and it is a work in progress - so deducted a star for each as it is an area that can be improved.
