Pros

*Great Pay *Extremely good benefits to include Medical, Dental, PTO, Life Insurance, Legal Insurance, Pet Insurance, 401K, Short and Long term disability *Company is very health aware and goes out of its way to ensure employees are both physically and mentally healthy. *Very long and detailed on boarding process *Covered training and education reimbursement *People are very nice and great to work with *Diverse place to work. Your work ability is all that matters.

Cons

*Job titles are a bit misleading. You may not get the title that best describes your duties and responsibilities. Despite this, you will do what they hired you to do nonetheless. * Telework is on a needs only basis but management says that it may possibly change in the future to include a few permanent telework days a week or bi-weekly. Only time will tell. Note: Due to covid basically everyone is teleworking at moment.

Pros

• TEL hires well. By that I mean, there hasn’t been a single person I’ve worked with who wasn’t likeable and collaborative. They have a good eye for people and employ talented engineers. • The workforce is diverse and inclusive. • The benefits are second to none. The pay is good but could be slightly better. Then again, regular bonuses tend to be high, so it makes up for that considerably. • The industry is very interesting and bleeding-edge. I say this as someone who came in with zero experience in semiconductors. • Lots of opportunity for advancement, as well as lateral movement if you need a change of pace. You can basically do any role, provided you’re willing to move.

Cons

• As I said, base salary is a little lower than industry average. • While the managers are pleasant and care about their direct reports, nobody has the bandwidth to provide much direct mentorship and supervision. You really need to be a self-starter to succeed in this company. The ability to learn and self-study is the most important skill to bring. • Work/life balance ebbs and flows a little too much. The company is growing rapidly, but that means we often have more work than we can effectively address. Efforts to hire more employees and spread the load are underway, but in the meantime a particularly busy week can mean working 70 hours.

Pros

I've worked for TEL for 4 years now. My experience with them has been positive. They make sure their employees are taken care of and have created a good work environment. They provide all the materials required in order to be successful.

Cons

With TEL being a Japanese company, sometimes I feel the US-based employees are ignored by the higher up leadership. There also can be some long weeks when projects are on deadlines, but that is normal in semiconductor industry.
