      Worst Company Ever!

      Pros

      People are generally friendly. Its nice to have a cafeteria in the building with friendly staff.

      Cons

      Actual position is completely different than the role advertised. Toll Brothers is not operationally effective. More time is spent shuffling papers than working on acquisitions or any value added activities. Group leaders do not care about their employees well-being and promotions are not based on performance. Everything is based on finding the cheapest "solution". The corporate office is a horrible building.

      Upper Management is oblivious to what goes on in the field

      Pros

      Good product. Salespeople in the field along with their construction team support each other and carry the company.

      Cons

      Corporate does not support the people in the field who are the ones who generate all the revenue. Still an old boys club. There is no transparency and people are afraid to speak the truth. Human Resources is non-existent. They keep laying off the people who work the hardest. Middle mgmt is BLOATED with people who have no clue what is going on--yet no one lays them off.

      Sales is run by men who never worked a day in the position. They always think they know best and do not value our opinions
