Pros

Get to wear many hats and tackle new and different projects. Projects can move quickly because teams are smaller than most large corporations

Cons

Old boys club...upper management only values length of tenure not actual experience and great leadership. Many great leaders passed by for those who they know will stay with the company forever. A lot of unhappy long-term employees just waiting to retire creates a stagnant environment.

Pros

Coworkers are great. Learn how to build a new community. Learn different parts of the business from sales to land development.

Cons

Long hours, upset home owners, lack of trades to get the work done, high turnover rate among employees. Monthly meetings after work to review progress are worthless and need to be done during the day. We spend too much time at work as it is.

Pros

Great environment, people and perks! They take great care of their employees. They have a gym, a game room and took the whole marketing team out to lunch and games in the park every month.

Cons

Cant think of any at the time.
