Pros

Great for Entry-Level Experience: Strong foundational training in pharmaceutical and cGMP industry practices, especially in Quality Control Chemistry (QCC). Valuable Skill Development: Exposure to documentation standards, regulated lab work, and high expectations builds a highly marketable skill set after 1–2 years. Supportive Immediate Supervisors: Frontline supervisors generally care about their team and try to support them, even when limited by upper management decisions. Decent Pay and Benefits: Compensation and benefits are competitive for the area and industry.

Cons

Unsustainable Workload: 2024 saw a dramatic increase in initiatives from senior leadership, leading to daily "firefighting" and unmanageable workloads. Toxic Culture from Senior Leadership: Leadership responses to employee concerns were often dismissive, condescending, or antagonistic—especially during company town halls. Lack of Empathy from HR and SLT: No meaningful attempts were made to acknowledge or validate employee struggles, which deeply impacted morale. Policy Changes Without Respect: Holiday scheduling changes for non-standard shifts were rolled out with little regard for employee sentiment and met with a "find another job" response from leadership. Collapsed Morale and Trust: Trust in HR and upper management eroded completely after repeated instances of disregard for employee well-being. Widespread Burnout and Change Fatigue: Employees are experiencing serious burnout, worsened by a culture where feedback feels unsafe or pointless to give. Pulse Surveys No Longer Reflect Reality: Many employees report dishonesty on internal surveys out of fear of retaliation or lack of faith in follow-through.
