Pros

-Great team at my location -Great employee discount (50%off everything including sale items) -Get used to giving a great customer service -Looks good on resume

Cons

-Have to reach goals, but we get no reward for reaching them except personal satisfaction I guess -Have to stay 1-2h after close during the holidays to clean up -Head office keeps sending us new ways to do everything (folding, customer service) -A lot of drama between certain employees.

Pros

Work hours: If the manager likes you, then it's a breeze in terms of work shifts. You get the hours you want and she is very flexible. Otherwise, be careful, for you will get 5 hours per week for X months. Managers seems to reward/ punish staff via giving you a lot of works shifts, or reducing them to non-existence. People: the staff are usually pretty chill. They are pretty much essentially composed of students looking for a part-time jobs. And since there are no commission, people don't steal clients or anything. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. Tasks: Since this is a warehouse-boutique, there's A LOT of folding and cleaning... and the store is huge. Clients: Mainly people from TMR area. A lot of families (with screaming kids), a lot of hassidic jews too and asians. Employee discount: AMAZING.

Cons

Affluence: the store is pretty much always busy at the same moments during every week: Thursday and Friday nights, the week-end. Sales: There are ALWAYS sales going on which turn clients into cray crays. They also LOVE to ask you to «clarify» the discounts for them (since Tommy Hilfiger seems to adore putting out multiple rebates at the same time (ex: if you buy for X$,. you get 50% off, BUT if you purchase y$ and over, you 75% off... and that's NOT including the pre-existing rebates in-store on merchandise))
