      Good work life balance Good location Generally interesting work Some good teams that focus on choosing the right candidate for a lot more than skills

      Cons

      Using some old development technologies, eg Windows CE, C++ pre-11, VS 2008 No transparency at all from management. Some not-so-good teams hire based purely on talent, not cultural fit, then micro managed
