Pros

Good benefits as part-time Okay discounts

Cons

Targets randomly go up, there’s not a heads up - one day you’re good for the week, other day you’re 5k short. This is not fair and it’s very discouraging and unfair for us that are not there as much. The company is suffering this 2024 and they are forcing us to do so much clienteling that customers are blocking us (the market I work for is not used to this) we are constantly reaching out with phone calls, messages and emails. The company is changing to affordable luxury which means that with that is also a customer that isn’t doing any appointments, calls or anything. If we dont make a month significantly due to illness or any type of health related issues, they have a policy for that. Even if the store didnt make goal, HR still can use the month you didn’t make goal and use it for a write up. When it comes to scheduling, the sm always uses the excuse that a “system”is the one that gives schedules. Management can’t seem to get that lie straight they just spill the beans. When you go to a manager and want to complain against a manager, they go to the manager in question and tell them everything. HR does the same thing. That usually ends in retaliation against employees. It has happened in my store twice. We work six hours without a break. We have a mandatory meeting every end of the month , for us is Sunday and if we are off for the day we have to come. As a part time, it takes more time than my full time, and that means every area. There isn’t a balance at all and it’s very stressful for a part time job. The letters that HR sends for write ups are scary and very hard for someone who’s starting at a company like this or wants to grow with them. They are very discouraging.
