Pros

Can go from entry level to 6 figures in just a few years. Surround yourself with the right people who are focused on success. Promote from within. Invest in their people with training program. Unlimited growth. Leadership pushes you hard to succeed.

Cons

Have to work really hard - focus on succeeding has to be the number 1 thing in your life or you will not. Have to be 24/7 available for customers. Not going to have time off in your first year.

Pros

Role summary: you will be assigned to a broker and work on his/her "board" for the first part of your tenure. This means that you will be assisting them with their book of business, which can vary in responsibility depending on how busy your broker is. After that, you start "prospecting", which is the sales portion of the job, while simultaneously handling operations for your broker. - The role itself can be very fast paced with regard to the logistics operations, but this can be a positive or a negative depending on how you apply yourself - The broker you are assigned to is not your boss, so you can develop a good relationship with them without the stress that normally comes with a boss/supervisor - Your boss/bosses main objective is to turn you and other LAETs into successful brokers - The most important thing to know about this role is that you get out what you put in - The company itself does try its best to give back to employees, which is not easy to do given the amount of workers.

Cons

The cons can vary depending on the team and broker that you are assigned to, so I will only mention the cons regarding the structure of the role/company. Frankly, the cons can be mitigated by the individual to a large extent. The sales portion can be largely affected by your own preparation and motivation. If you are expecting a regular job where you can come in and work hard from 9-5 and go home, then this role is probably not for you. In order to be successful, you will need to put in extra work outside of standard hours. Your effort decides your outcome in many ways.
