Pros

Tech stack: Pretty good, they use modern technologies like, kafka, datadog, ...

Cons

Benefits: 401k - 7 years vested, 50% match on first 6%, They do company contribution at the end of the year. If you decided to leave the company in November you will get 0 company contribution to that year. 401k actually BS so if it important to you its not the right company. Vacation: 15 days per year which is good. They also have have something called LTI (some sort of company stocks)- which is also BS like 401. They will sell to you that it something cool , don't fall for that. Sign in bonus - they will take if off if you didn't work 3 years for the company. Environment: Stressed High pleasure Very demanding Micromanagement Overall, I had bad experience with a company, unfortunately cannot recommend .

Pros

Great place to work and gain programming experience. TQL very much has a go-getter, get stuff done, hardworking culture. If that's what you like, then this is the place to be. The people I work with, directly at least, are becoming genuine friends. Great people all around in my domain. I've only heard good things on other engineering teams as well. There's a good variety of people as well. Which is always nice to see.

Cons

TQL can be kind cheap with compensation. For example, my team has lost several engineers to smaller companies. The most common reason being a lack in compensation. TQL shouldn't be losing software engineers from a compensation perspective to companies making orders of magnitude less per year. The benefits could be better as well. These reasons are why I think leadership can be kinda cheap with compensation.
