Pros

Total Safety has an atmosphere that empowers you to present new ideas and challenge old ones. It is changing fast since the new management came in one year ago and even though it was hard at first to see change it is quickly becoming a special place to work. Lots of new technology advances over the past year -- some incredible things. And they have done a great job integrating the systems of 22 different companies that were acquired.

Cons

Still some lingering unease among the employees due to the many changes but it is improving every day. I have been through acquisitions before and they are never easy on anyone. But people are now being able to enjoy generous vacation packages and engage in various aspects of the company in a way they were never allowed to do before. Much of the old upper management is gone, and the new upper management is very focused on engagement.

Pros

Great opportunity for knowledge & growth in the HSE field. You can easily make good money if you work hard, represent the company well when on projects, learn from others around you, & really apply yourself. You also have a great opportunity to really network & market yourself to a lot of companies, creating more possibilities if ever needed.

Cons

They have a few 'less than stellar' technicians that really cause issues on projects. And it seems as though they are impossible to get rid of, or management just doesn't want to pull the trigger on letting them go. In the end, they represent the company in an unprofessional way, which has/can cause the company to lose contracts, therefore causing you to lose out on money.

Fairness and loyalty treat you like family we'll organize and very safety oriented and good training management was satisfactory could have been better

Cons

Very little opportunity for advancement and you have to be willing to travel a lot if you want to stay employed or be layed off until they have local work in your area again
