Pros

Good hiring practices and promoting from within creates managers who care about the company and all team members. Potential for very good money with tips. Excellent opportunity for training and advancement.

Cons

Tipped positions have very inconsistent pay, especially in areas with heavy tourist seasons. Sometimes the contract nature of the position causes conflicting orders from Towne Park management vs. hotel management.

Pros

There are some great people there that have worked there for a long time. Some of the best people I have ever met that will be there awhile bc they are "stuck" in the hopes of gaining something from their stock options.

Cons

The company is just run poorly. They consistently make poor business decisions and those are never for the positive for the employees. Whenever their bad choices get them into a financial situation - which happens regularly - the employees are the first ones that get affected negatively. Very little positive things I can say - not somewhere I would recommend spending any amount of time or trying to build my career, even though they want you to think it's possible.

You will Never make Money PERIOD.You will Be promised 10 to 12 dollars average. i didnt even average the minimum wage.Also Tip sharing!!!??? I seen MOST of employees putting money in their pockets without sharing,so your tip share will end up 7 or 10 dollars .They Complicate Jobs,its Parking, Not rocket science. They have the Worse Cordinators and managers ever with attitude. I seriously advice working for Mcdonalds instead,you will make more there.They will make a slave out of you for 3 or 4 dollars an hour.
