Pros

Good opportunity and flexible work environment. Stable and positive environment. Good opportunity to implement new ideas and supportive management etc.

Cons

A little top heavy in management. Too much reporting . Career development and assignment opportunity is unclear and difficult. Promotion process is long and can be unnecessarily cumbersome and draining. Base pay too low, raise (in not recession) below inflation rate. Bonus portion too large percentage of compensation.

Pros

Great benefits package, small discount on Toyota vehicles, very sensitive towards employees feelings, leading manufacturing company.

Cons

Slow advancement, lower pay than peers, locations concentrated in the Midwest and South, high-tech projects are very limited, possible glass ceiling for non-Japanese or Caucasian employees who have executive level aspirations.

Management is one of the worst things which you ever see in this company. The other one is the benefits after retirement.
