Management is vehemently anti-union, and often ignores crew concerns. A lot of lip-service is paid to creating a positive environment, but this usually just boils down to the occasional snack-time. Management fosters an atmosphere of distrust among employees, likely in an effort to reduce employee solidarity. I saw a fair amount of accidents and injuries while I was working there, often because a crew member was rushing to complete too much work in too little time.
