Terrible communication—virtually nonexistent. You'll need to train yourself on new technologies, as the company still relies on outdated systems. If you ever decide to work elsewhere, you’ll quickly realize how behind your skills have become. Asking questions is discouraged and often penalized. You're expected to figure everything out on your own, and failing to do so comes with consequences. There is little to no documentation, and what exists is severely outdated. Ironically, you might be treated better for calling out than for showing up and trying to be productive.

Many employees are older and especially Managers. This makes the job less "fun" because you are surrounded mostly by Generation X. Still using their old processes and rarely switch to new approach of development, hiring and even implementing new tech.
