Business Outlook
Pros
Laid back environment in the toolroom so you can focus on getting your project done right. My co workers and supervisor are nice and helpful. No drama. Starting out pay with little to no experience isn't too bad.
Cons
Most of the good experienced people either retired or quit for MUCH higher paying toolroom jobs. Pay is way below average for journeyman level toolmakers and machinists. No paid time off at all for an entire year. Vacation (no) sick time PTO (10hrs) is the lowest I've ever had at any job.
