      Sales Development Program

      Pros

      Great program! Learned so much in the program and I feel that all of the tools that I have learned can be directly applied to any sales job. The culture is wonderful! The people in the Elmhurst office are very accommodating.

      Cons

      If you do not care for the air compressor industry, then this job is not for you. Point blank period. You will not be fully committed to the job and it will be slightly harder for you. They are going through a leadership change and many other changes so be mindful of that if you decide to join this office. Many things have not been figured out fully just yet so you'll need some patience.

      Fun work environment, plenty of opportunities for growth opportunities within the company. I have enjoyed learning about the procurement process in regards to this company.

      Cons

      Not too many cons for this company. Some days seem more chaotic than others, but that's any job.

      Energetic company to work for

      Pros

      Strong emphasis on Operational Excellence; continuous improvement, promoting from within when possible, and always looking for fresh ideas. I have worked for much larger companies and much smaller companies than IR in my 30-year career but IR strikes a good balance. Work-life balance is practiced, at least at my plant. Good pay and co-workers and managers who seem to like where they are working.

      Cons

      People who are stuck in their ways will find the company a challenge.
