Pros

Great colleagues Interesting product The CEO really cares about people and his business

Cons

If you're in sales, you will be told OTE is one number, but never be empowered to achieve that figure. You'll make half (if that) of commission targets. Product is underdeveloped vs. price tag There is no strategy -- the company is trying to get as much revenue and customer base as possible. You will be pressured to do whatever it takes to close the sale. Certain products or certain aspects of products are a *mess* You will get calls from C-Suite on the weekend, asked to close and then reopen opportunities so the time to close 'looks better' to investors, and have little support from other areas of the business because people are so overwhelmed

Pros

Great sustainability mission. I love the team I work with. Very collaborative. There's definitely an understanding with my leader about work-life balance and staying healthy both mentally and physically. The highest levels of leadership of the business unit I work in are extremely invested in driving a culture of inclusion, diversity, and overall collaboration and daring to do things differently. There is a reason that I haven't left this company in the last decade, despite being one of those stereotypically "flighty" millenials... Also the acceptance of more remote working even before Covid hit has been a major benefit for me.

Cons

Like any large company, it can take a while to implement change. A fair amount of restructuring has happened in the last year since Trane Technologies split off from Ingersoll Rand, but I supposed that's to be expected. Some teams do struggle with trying to do things the old way, the less efficient way. It takes strong and capable leaders to steer the ship in a different direction.
