      Fair treatment

      Pros

      I always felt like I was treated fairly. They were very good about encouraging professional development training. The Davidson campus is a beautiful lakefront facility.

      Cons

      They had engineers do a lot of non engineering functions. They don't promote from within the company. The new product development schedules are driven by when they promised the revenue would come in and not by project planning. It depends on the manager but in general the managers don't seem to value technical expertise.

      Great starting salary for those early in career Lots of applicable work experience for those who want to advance their careers

      Cons

      Lots and lots of work. On average, I work 50-60 hrs a week for a normal full time job

      Pros

      Company has some great benefits and a flexible work environment, which is nice. However, much of your ability to take advantage of the benefits will depend on your manager. Many policies are implemented at varying levels depending on management, so as long as you have a supportive manager, you can really have a great work/life balance no matter what the work load because you have the ability to work when/how you work best.

      Cons

      They tend to run super lean, which means you will be over-worked much of the time. You really have to look out for yourself. Everyone is trying to climb the corporate ladder, so be aware!
