Pros

The people are wonderful, and everyone is committed to the job. You get to work with people from all over the world. The company has offices in the top locations of every country it inhabits, and PMs can work out of these offices.

Cons

It becomes clear pretty early on, that this company hires mainly college grads who don't know they should expect respect, boundaries, and perks from the job. Employees are paid insultingly low salaries, and are expected to pay translators the same level of meager wages. The hours are terrible - 9 to 6 is the signed contract, but there are days you'll come in at 8:30 and won't leave til 9. You're on salary, so you don't get compensated for this, but the job needs to get done. There's always more work than can be handled, because the processes are archaically bad. Technologies are not properly utilized here to make things more efficient. TransPerfect runs a tight ship, and with the low salaries and extremely stressful conditions, there is extremely high turnover. This makes it even harder on the employees that stick around. There are many stories of people sleeping at the office on occasion, and offices "imploding" because all of the PMs quit at once. I could go on and on, but that's enough for now. Spare yourself the stress, and don't work here.

Pros

Diversity working environment. People are nice and atmosphere is casual.

Cons

You cannot expect great teamwork. If something goes wrong, everyone will try to find someone to blame and be responsible. Salary is not great either.

Great people, terrible pay!

Pros

The people. TransPerfect has great people to work with. Easy to get along with and very collaborative.

Cons

They severely underpay their employees. While management makes the most money, every other employee gets underpaid. They also have a high turnover rate, mainly because of pay and growth opportunity. Management refuses to spend money on necessary tools and always looks to save a buck. There's also a lot of politics in the office. The issues between the CEO's have driven many people out of the company. Although it doesn't effect regular employees, it does when their managers keep leaving. Remote work is nearly impossible. They don't trust their employees to work from home. Their technology is outdated. People complain about these things and they don't get fixed.
