The biggest con is micromanagement; you can't breathe without your manager having to have a say in it. Every single email you send, every single move you make, every single task you do will be monitored and criticized. My manager had an Excel 'Mistake Tracker' where she tracked my every mistake and even things that weren't even mistakes. She highlighted my mistakes every chance she got. During our 1-1s, we only spoke about my mistakes - nothing positive. I was put on a PIP for speaking up regarding the workload. My manager decided to put me on it so I stop speaking up and just do the work that is needed. The PIP was only negative. My manager did not want me to improve in any way, shape, or form. Even if I showed motivation and big improvements, she did not want to acknowledge them. I once had a panic attack/fainting situation at the office and my manager did not bother to come see if I was ok. Instead, she asked me if I had finished my tasks for the day. They also robbed me of my bonuses on top of my salary being below market rate. This is how you know how toxic the culture and environment is. I quit this job after 1 year and 3 months and could not be any happier!

Wages do not meet cost of living in most locations. Company is based in the highest cost of living cities around the Globe, but does not pay wages to meet this. Each position is defined in responsibilities, but to the point that no leeway is allowed for innovation.
