      Pros

      -Very much a meritocracy -They're very picky about hiring, so you end up working with great people and can make some long-time friends. -You're given a lot of responsibility early and learn very quickly -If you are dedicated to the company, the company is dedicated to you -You're given a lot of autonomy

      Cons

      -You do work hard and put in your time for your first year or two, but it pays off many times over -You wear many hats and need to learn quickly how to be a jack of all trades -You often need to figure things out on your own with little oversight

      Pros

      - Uncapped commission structure for salespeople. - Benefits package that rivals Fortune 500 companies. - Management opportunities that many mature companies do not offer. TransPerfect is growing by huge margins year-over-year and with that comes new positions that did not exist before. The culture is to promote within, as opposed to hire from the outside. - Passionate dedication from Sr. Management to be the #1 provider of translation services in the world.

      Cons

      Depending on your level of self motivation and enthusiasm, it can take years to grow at the company. Hard work is rewarded quickly, but complacency and tenure is not. Many new hires with strong educational backgrounds expect some level of entitlement, and this is not the place for that.

      - Total meritocracy - You do have to put in a fair share of work, but it pays off in promotions, increased salary, increased responsibility - Company is constantly growing, changing and evolving - Keeps you on your toes and allows for management opportunities - Lots of responsibility given early on

      Cons

      - Can be stressful at times but that is the case with any sales/client-facing job.
