Business Outlook
Pros
Competitive compensation and benefits and opportunities to work on large-scale technology initiatives.
Cons
The culture is heavily influenced by favoritism and internal politics. Career advancement and job security often depend more on who you know than the quality of your work. Frequent leadership changes lead to waves of “bringing in their own people,” which disrupts team stability. After the Neustar deal, the dynamic shifted—despite being positioned as an acquisition, it felt more like a takeover. Many long-tenured, dedicated employees were let go to make room (and budget) for new hires brought in by incoming leadership and paid massive amount of money to do the same jobs with less competence and experience.
