Pros

Autonomy, fun, rewarding, growing company, benefits, yearly bonus, and great learning environment. Great communities of practice that challenge me and make me better.

Cons

Big company that’s comfortable with the status quo and challenging in adopting agile across the lines of business, which is to be expected

Glad to hear that you are enjoying your time here at TransUnion. I'm sure you see this everyday as a Scrum Master, but we are committed to doing agile the right way and are making sure we take the time to ensure the buy-in of all people across the business, not just the technology side. I hope you will continue to help shepherd this process in your day-to-day work. - Mohit Kapoor, CTO

Pros

Great company culture and company is growing fast

Cons

The pay structure is region based so you do not get paid on your individual performance from a commission perspective. Corporate politics at play, management is amiable but they promote only by favoritism and not by qualifications and performance.

Working to become a better company

Pros

- Excellent coworkers; overall smart, helpful and friendly - Flexible hours when needed - Fair Pay - Good Benefits - Challenging work - Robust work from home opportunities

Cons

- Limited opportunities for advancement unless located in Chicago - Certain products/systems are not well maintained. Felt like the "House of Cards" could tumble at any moment. - Work/Life Balance is terrible. Associates are not allowed the time to do a quality job but are personally blamed when mistakes are made. - Certain departments lead by fear and intimidation. If you are in one of these departments, morale is very low. If you speak up about low morale, you damage your career. - HR protects the company rather than the employee
