Pros

Old-school company with a new vision Possibly most-nimble of the three major bureaus in US Great market in need of disruption, and company shows early signs of "getting it". This will let it fend off coming market consolidation and compression for the core data products - for a while.

Cons

Central command-and-control means acquisition offices and global locations are less likely to have resources to innovate. Slower than fintechs and some competitors to embrace newest frameworks - still focused on large tools, large platforms. You will not learn the latest techniques here, but you will learn how to serve the largest financial services companies with solid tools.

Pros

- Great work/life balance (with flexibility to work from home) - encouraging environment that allows you to own the meaningful work that you do while maintaining a life outside of the office - Open concept office spaces that encourage teams to collaborate and innovate - AMAZING benefits/perks (medical/dental/vision - best I've ever had, parental leave, adoption benefits, pet insurance, ample PTO, competitive compensation, employee discounts [on things such as cell phone bill, cars, fitness centers, computers, etc.], tuition reimbursement, great 401K, game rooms, massage chairs, and more!) - Training - management has listened to feedback from engagement surveys and has ramped up training programs and initiatives for associates from individual contributors to managers - Ample opportunities to learn about our industry and what we do through regular lunch and learns - Diverse and inclusive work environment - TransUnion has a number of networking resource groups for associates to join, who give back to the community and help their members grow and develop personally and professionally - Community involvement and philanthropy

Cons

A lot of processes and procedures in place which can be time consuming to navigate but understandable with the nature of the industry.
