The people at Transamerica are great. Most people are easy to work with and the culture is very oriented on career growth. In my department senior leadership is very good.

Cons

Workload and expectations are very high. Pay is also on the lower end of the scale.

Compensation is skewed to push Life Insurance (IMO). Your not a fiduciary and its not comprehensive financial planning

The Brand is well known, they do a good job of making remote workers feel connected. The company is doing a great job of transforming itself. The people.

Cons

The parent company is AEGON, and being owned by AEGON sometimes creates am additional layer of oversight that can create communicative and prioritization challenges. Additionally, in my instance, my boss really focused on managing up and it affected her commination and support.
