Pros: -Most people are nice if a bit boring and corporate -Benefits of a huge company such as discounts on software, a gym, tickets to community events, etc. -Stable employment once you're there

Cons

-Stingy HR. I've known multiple people who have been called for a talking-to for laughable offenses. This breeds a distrust of the upper management -Constantly changing expectations of the lower level positions. These expectations usually also determine some part of your pay. -Lowest level positions are very routine and demand very little creativity -Middle Management sometimes hired from the outside and has very little experience with the day to day work of people below them.

Good work/life balance. Beyond that, I can't say too many other good things about working for this company.

Cons

Constant waves of layoffs; seemingly never-ending reorganizations; as a consequence of all this constant upheaval, no one knows what they can or can't do under the new regime(s)
