Pros

I had a strong relationship with my team. There was lots of mutual respect among the individual contributors, managers, and directors. Recent (at the time) pushes to modernize the technology being used showed healthy signs of investment in the business' future.

Cons

The CEO's decade (or more) long fixation on the retail side of the company placed a stranglehold on the far more profitable HVAC and appliance repair businesses. Efforts to spin them off were eventually abandoned, leaving the impression of a complete lack of long-term strategic vision and planning. Laughably poor compensation vs. market norms.

Remote, some nice people, not much else

Cons

Where to start... this place is going down quickly. Financially insolvent and losing millions. Consider yourself lucky to get paid on time, nevermind the very undermarket compensation and poor benefits. Raises are non-existent. People are jumping ship and fast... who knows how long this company will stay afloat. Beware.
