Cons
This is probably the worst job I have had. Customer service for electric company i guess that contracted TSI worst job ever. Tsi is a quick hire company which is fine if you need a new job asap but i recommend as soon as you get hired keep looking for a new job bc this place is awful. I have never seen micromanaging this bad with awful pay. The pay is only $15/hr and the calls are not only back to back but you dont even get a minute to breathe between calls. You have to wrap up everything while youre still on the call with customer cause right after they hang up another call comes in with no second to breathe. They micromanage so much they want your calls to be under a certain amount of minutes, if your already around 5 min into the call the managers will send you a chat on the gc bc they basically want you to start wrapping up the call mind you this is while you’re talking to customers complaining about their bills and have alot going on they want you to rush calls which is hard, and if you put a customer on hold it cant be for more than 1 minute before some manager tells you to check back in with customer. You cant even put your phone on break or just take a breather you have to ask a manager first, and the managers barely want to take calls if a customer asks for a supervisor. When it was 1hr before closing non of the supervisors wanted to take calls they would make you tell a customer a bunch of crap to try and get them off the phones. They say its just customer service but you end up also being the billing dept and have to explain to customers why their bill is high and also you have to do a bunch of other things its not just customer service and for the pay being $15/hr is just insane, bc they’re a quick hire they know most ppl who apply are desperate for a job so they treat them anyhow as if you’re just a robot. Just cause its a remote job its not worth it one bit, you can get a regular job thats not remote but will save you the stress and pay you more. The training for the job was not the best i didnt feel prepared once i started taking calls. I really do not recommend this job, if you need a new job asap theres other quick hire companies out there dont even bother with this one cause as soon as training is done and start your first day on the phones you will wanna quit and if you do end up getting this job make a plan to stick around just for training and be gone right after its done bc you will regret staying after training, by the time I left which wasnt too long after training over half of my training class had already quit and thats why its a quick hire company they have a high turnover rate cause ppl are constantly quitting and they dont care at all.
