Pros

I feel that management in my dept is very proactive in trying to keep the staff happy. They are extremely accomodating in allowing you to work from home when necessary. The amount of time off is a plus as it starts out at 4 weeks and you are allowed to buy additional time.

Cons

Senior management tends to rely on the namebrand as a reason for jumping the market in rate increases. This can make your job much more difficult in comparision to competitors. I've worked in UW and claims. I felt that claims management was below par and it resulted in less than desirable results. I also saw a lot of cronyism in in promotions. That didn't necessary cost me, but has others.
