Big corporation with tons of product and great availability of parts. Computerized ordering and next day receiving makes some of the job easy.

Cons

Constant pressure to meet monetary goals. Setting of unrealistic goals makes wage increases impossible. Rapid expansion of Trek owned shops may be the downfall of this company.

Pros

Good, honest work will be rewarded. Trek makes you feel part of the family and part of its success. I have been with Trek for 10 years. Prove your worth, pay and employment longevity will follow. Unbelievable products that are best in class. Love being a part of it. Great profit sharing and manageable work life balance. Build a good rapport and working across departments to achieve goals isn't hard to do. Fair pay. Continuous improvement on trickle down communications.

Cons

Too many people take advantage of Treks "Fun and Flexible" creed. Having more fun then anything else, leaving the flexible part to those who care about the work that needs to be done. The upside to this Con is those people are getting found out. Trek is at it's leanest workforce since my time here. Not back filling spots is a common practice.

Getting to work on Bikes

Cons

Its a billion dollar company that has no management and no long term plan. Everything is totally disorganized, projects are chaotic at best, and the pay is terrible. Budgets are always being cut to pad the bottom line, to the point that there's no money to get anything done.
