Pros
TrellisWare is a great place to work. - Good Pay - Lots of people across the skill and experience range; easy to find people to learn from or mentor - Interesting work - Friendly culture - High end test equipment - Everyone seems to take an interest in doing the right thing from an engineering perspective rather than band-aids upon band-aids - Hybrid work policy is the best out there (and a huge reason why I don't even look at other companies very hard) - Excellent benefits
Cons
- New IT changes are annoying (spam filter is too aggressive, recently everything on my desktop seems slow with new backup script, added elevation for installing software places start menu shortcuts in an inaccessible folder, etc etc); perhaps these are unavoidable with running windows - There is more and more "siloing" of work as the years pass by, it is getting a little easier to get pidgeon-holed (but possible to overcome if you are motivated enough)
