- Friendly coworkers - Small pond big fish potential - attempts at employee engagement through events and employee appreciation
Cons
- unqualified management. Just because someone has the skills to perform well in a specific field, does not mean they know how to manage people. - lack of trust for promised perks such as remote work. - strict limitations on PTO, that does not apply to everyone. - behind on compensation norms - a family-business is not always a pro or something to boast about on job descriptions. There was a toxicity due to the small “family-like” nature.
